Sir Virgilio Francisco, aged 74, experiences deterioration in hearing due to aging. This affected his participation in church activities.
“As a counselor, I had to perform counselling to our church members and join outreach programs, but I was not able to take part due to my hearing loss problem. I used to be isolated during meetings in our church since I could barely participate. Further, I had difficulties in conversations because of my hearing loss. I had the tendency to speak louder.
